The study also validated an estimated service life of 30 to 33 years, demonstrating the importance of structural integrity, durability and lifecycle engineering in water treatment infrastructure.
Pressure vessels designed for long-term cyclic fatigue resistance may reduce the need for repeated equipment replacement.
