ROPV Achieves EcoVadis Silver Rating for Sustainability Management
Reichwelt is proud to congratulate Harbin ROPV Industrial Co., Ltd. on receiving the EcoVadis Silver Rating in recognition of its sustainability management system.
With an overall score of 77 out of 100, ROPV was placed in the 92nd percentile among organisations assessed globally by EcoVadis. This ranking places ROPV among the top 8% of assessed companies, while the EcoVadis Silver Rating is awarded to companies within the top 15%. Published on 30 March 2026, the rating remains valid until 30 March 2027.
Harbin ROPV Industrial Co., Ltd. achieved an EcoVadis Silver Rating with an overall score of 77 out of 100, placing it among the top 8% of companies assessed globally.
Independent Recognition of Responsible Business Practices
The EcoVadis recognition provides an independent assessment of ROPV’s overall sustainability management system rather than serving as a product certification. EcoVadis evaluates companies based on documented evidence across four key sustainability areas, which are environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. ROPV received 80 out of 100 for environment and 79 out of 100 for labour and human rights. The company also achieved scores of 70 out of 100 for both ethics and sustainable procurement, together with full scores of 100 out of 100 for policies and certifications. The EcoVadis Medal therefore recognises the strength of ROPV’s sustainability management system. It is neither a product certification nor a manufacturer self-declaration. Instead, it demonstrates that the company has established effective policies and management practices covering important sustainability criteria.
Sustainability Built into Manufacturing
Impact Filtration has long maintained that the true value of an FRP pressure vessel should not be measured only at the point of purchase, but over decades of operation. ROPV’s EcoVadis Silver rating now extends this principle beyond product performance by demonstrating that engineering integrity also applies to the manufacturing systems behind every vessel.
ROPV FRP pressure vessels are independently validated for service lives exceeding 30 years using accelerated aging models and fatigue simulations. This long service life reduces replacement frequency and emissions associated with manufacturing. Each vessel that reaches its designed lifespan can avoid approximately 200 kg of resin and fiber materials, together with an estimated 1–2 metric tons of embedded CO₂ emissions.
